About the Journal

Journal of Al-Qadisiyah for Computer Science and Mathematics (JQCM) is a scientific journal issued by the College of Computer Science and Information Technology /University of  Al-Qadisiyah since 2009  periodically 2 times per year and 4 times per year since 2019, the number of issues published since journal launched  15 issues.

ISSN 2521-3504 (Online), ISSN 2074-0204 (Print).

The date of submission and acceptance of the article has been installed on articles published in Vol( 5)  upwards, and the date available online of the article has been installed on articles published in Voll(10) upwards.

Aims and Scope

The journal publishes academic and applied papers dealing with recent topics and scientific concepts. Papers considered for publication in computer science, mathematics, Statistics Computational Physics. Accepted papers will be freely downloaded by professors, researchers, instructors, students, and interested workers.( Open Access) Published Papers are registered and indexed in the universal libraries.

About Paper Review:

Journal of Al-Qadisiyah for Computer Science and Mathematics (JQCM) employs a paperless, electronic submission and evaluation system to promote a rapid turnaround in the peer review process. All published journal papers are refereed by international competent researchers and scientists. Therefore, a full double – blind international refereeing process is used.

Journal of Al-Qadisiyah for Computer Science and Mathematics (JQCM) routinely uses plagiarism detection software to verify the originality of papers submitted to the journal.

The publishers’ and journal editors’ definitions of plagiarism (what is acceptable re-use of data, description of methodology and so on may vary across disciplines, but there is general agreement that plagiarism is the non-acknowledgment of other people’s work or contributions).

 Papers are sent to reviewers for their peer review process:

The reviewers’ recommendations determine whether a paper will be accepted/accepted subject to change (Minor or Major) / subject to resubmission with significant changes / rejected.

For papers that require changes, the same reviewers will be used to ensure that the quality of the revised paper is acceptable.

Plagiarism: 

Journal of Al-Qadisiyah for Computer Science and Mathematics (JQCM) takes issues of copyright infringement, plagiarism, or other breaches of best practices in publication very seriously. Each submitted article is checked with plagiarism-checking software at the Computer Center and Internet Services-University of Al-Qadisiyah. Any article that exceeds the permissible ratio of plagiarism is rejected.
